Chumby is both a consumer Internet device and a platform for delivering the Internet experience to 3rd party consumer electronics. The company is backed by San Diego’s Avalon ventures and others. Chumby was founded by Steve Tomlin, Derrick Oien, Andrew Huang, Duane Maxwell and Ken Steele.
